The Garcia's! :D

On July 6th Travis and I, Daffney too, arrived in Charlotte, North Carolina. Our trip was looong, but ok! Trav was very well behaved with just one major meltdown and Daffney did well on her 1st flight. :)

Mom & Larkin picked us up at the airport. It was GREAT to see them! And Travis recognized his Nanny imediately! The drive up to Roanoke, VA (their home where we are staying until we get a place of our own in NC) was just BEAUTIFUL!!! I could not get over the beauty in grass, trees, wildflowers, and the Blue Ridge Mountains. It's just inspiring- the beauty of the Lord!

We spent the time mainly on vacation! :) It seems surreal that this is now our "home"! Aunt Myrna & Uncle Brad got us a very nice '96 Nissan Altima. A BIG upgrade for us! :D And it is a stick so the boys enjoyed watching me learn to drive. LOL! I am feeling like quite the pro now! :D

On the morning of the 26th Brandon joined us! Travis and I drove down to Charlotte to pick him up- and boy was Travis happy to see his Dada! :) After we got Brandon we drove around the Concord/Mooresville area checking out our future living area. We missed the interstate home, forget to navigate while sight-seeing, and ended up taking a VERY scenic route! Man, 3hour trip into 5-6. I don't reccomend it! ;D

Now that Brandon is here it is setting in a little more that we 'live here.' I have met with my futre boss multiple times now. I have been studying like crazy for my State Exam on Life & Health Insurance. unfortunately I can not test until I have a NC driver's liscense and can't get one until we have a NC residence.

We've been looking for a place to rent, but due to our very small budget it has turned into quite a task. But, we just recently called on a place that sounds WONDERFUL! Very affordable 2bedroom/1bath, large fenced yard, washer/dryer/fridge/oven/stove included, just minutes from my work, with a park that backs up to the back yard! We have been praying that crazy that if it's meant to be it will work out... SOON!!! :D

I could go on and on, and hope to add pics ASAP, but that's a majority of what our past month + has been. :) We have many tasks to work through and feel overwhelmed more often than not, but we know that the Lord has a plan for us and I just can't wait to see His plan revealed. :)

We miss you all 'out west' and send you our love!!! I will try my hardest to get on here and update more often!!!!
